God's people must keep the Passover of the new covenant.
Regardless of what age, God commanded us to keep the Passover.
Ex 12:10-14 ...It is LORD's Passover...This is a day you are to commemorate; for the generations to come you shall celebrate it as a festival to the LORD-a lsating ordinance.
Mt 26:17-19 ..."Where do you want us to make preparations for you to eat the Passover?"...So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover.
Then, Do you really keep the Passover?
Unfortunately, people of the world mistake for keeping the Passover
even though they don't keep the Passover.
They celebrate the Easter, and they think that the Easter is same with the Passover.
However, it is not true.
The Passover is not the Easter. Then, let's see the difference between the Passover and the Easter.
First, let's think about the name.
We can find the name "the Passover" in the Bible.
Lk 22:15..."I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.
What about the Easter?
Have you ever find the name the Easter in the Bible? Never.
Second, let's see the date.
Do you know the date of the Passover?
Lv 23:5 The LORD's Passover begins at twilight on the fourteenth day of the first month.
The date of the Passover is the evening of the 14th day of the first month by Jewish calendar.
We must keep the Passover at the appointed date.
Then, what about the Easter? The Easter also is an annual festival.
The date of the Easter is the first Sunday after the first full moon after the vernal equinox.
Have you ever seen the date of the Easter in the Bible? Never.
The date of the Passover is fixed, so the day can be changed.
It comes on Thursday, Friday, Saturday..and any day of the week.
But, the Easter comes on only Sunday.
It can't make sense.
Third, how do we celebrate?
The Bible says, we have to celebrate the Passover with the bread and wine.
Mt 26:26-28 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying,"Take and eat; this is my body." Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying,"Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
How about the Easter?
The Easter is kept with eggs and bunny.
We can't find those in the Bible.
Lastly, let's see the blessing.
When we keep the Passover, we receive the forgiveness of sins and the eternal life.
What is the blessing of the Easter? Nothing.
From now on, we've seen the difference between the Passover and the Easter.
When we keep the Passover according to the Bible,
we can receive the blessings from God.
The Easter is not the promise of God. we don't have to keep it.
Let's keep the Passover of the New Covenant and receive the promise of God!

I hope that many people can have the right understanding about the difference between Easter, made by man, and the Passover of the New Covenant in the Bible.
