Heavenly Family and Earthly Family

What are you reminded of when you hear the word family?Don’t you think of a house? 

In the Bible, Jesus also mention a lot of time, the word “house”.

John14/1-3

Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.  My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

Jesus told us the father house surely exists. 

Then who will be the member of this house? As you can see the physical family, the main member of the family is father. 

In the bible Heb 8:5, all the earthly systems are a copy and shadow of what in heaven. Therefore, if there is a father ,there must also be a heavenly father.

Heb12/9

Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of spirits and live!

Matt6/9

This, then, is how you should pray:  “ ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name”

The God in heaven is our God the father. So we have heavenly father as well as physical father.

Then who is the next member of the family? Let’s think about the “father”, No one can be called father, unless he has a child. Who would call him “father”? The little father is only used by child.

Matt 12/46

While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him. Someone told him, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you.”  He replied to him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?”  Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers.  For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”

We can find the word brother and sister, just as we have physical brothers and sisters we have spiritual brothers and sisters.

 God’s children must follow God’s words. So church of God's members  follow God’s will keep the Sabbath, the Passover, and all of the other truth.

We studied spiritual father and spiritual brothers and sisters exist. Then who is left? It’s Mother.

Gal 4/26

But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.

This verse reveals that there exists a heavenly Mother. Just as mother given birth to child, in the same way spiritual mother give us spiritual life. 

So we have our spiritual father , brothers , sisters and spiritual mother.

In our life, family is a strong defense when we tired, sick, and hard. But Bible told us we have spiritual father and mother exist. 

Don’t you want to be a member of the spiritual family? And also gave us answer how to become god’s children. Let’s study about the bible and inherit the kingdom of God.
